Slow & Steady

The last few days have just been one big melting goo pile of playing Sims 2, updating my Etsy shop and posting clothes on the Fatshionxchange, adding to and checking off a bunch of things on my to-do list (my chore one, not my fun Autumn themed one), lots of tv watching, more Sims 2 playing, reading lots of Baby-sitters Club books, and the occasional errand running. Yep, I'm one fascinating person this week! lol

I guess I just have these colorful photos to offer you today for entertainment. I do promise that next week I've got something awesome for the blog - keep an eye out for that. :)

 Outfit details - Orange top, $3 (thrifted) - Jeans, $4 (Wal-Mart old) - Scarf, .50 cents (thrifted) - Owl ring, $2 (Forever21 old) - Leopard print flats, $7 (K-Mart old)

Hi! This is my first time commenting...yay! Anyway, love the owl ring and the scarf! I have been meaning to start thrifting more but it is so hard being plus sized and finding good things. You are a thrifting inspiration! Plus, I'm from a small town in Wisconsin too, so it's a total bonus to read a blog from that perspective. Can't wait to see what else you write about!

Haha we can totally trade - I love being busy, makes me feel useful. :)

I'm sure you'll get through things and the video games will be there waiting when you're done. Hang in there, girl!

Hey! Thanks for finding my blog. What are the odds that we're so similar and BOTH from Wisconsin?! That is way cool!

I would recommend starting with thrifting at Goodwill. In the last year or two, they started buying over stock from Target. I often see the plus size items floating around (and I've bought quite a few of them). But I totally understand the frustration of thrifting while being plus size. Most small town thrift stores don't accommodate past a size 12. :/ (or they do have something and it's hideous sweaters in a 4x from the 80s! lol)

I know right? I didn't even mention that I am a frozen coffee and Sims addict too! Although, I play Sims 3 now lol. Thanks for the tips on thrifting. I recently had a really successful Goodwill trip after reading your blog. Shoes, boots, a skirt AND a sweater!

So glad to hear about your successful thrifting trip. :)
