Here are my official first outfit photos in my new backyard. Soak it in because this will be the first and last time you see it! I now have neighbors who are outside for cookouts with friends - none of that private backyard stuff. I guess that calls for lots of summer adventures so I can take lots of pictures in new places, right?!
Outfit details - Shirt, $12 (Amazon.com, old) - Shorts, won from Penny Chic (JMS.com brand) - Scarf, free/gifted - Leopard print flats, $7 (K-Mart old) - Lipstick, gift (Viva Glam 1 by M.A.C) - Key necklace, $1 (Bargain Depot old)

Haha, thanks girl!! :)
Thank you! I think so, too. :)
This is such a cute outfit. I love your shirt! These pictures are awesome.
We share a backyard with our neighbors too, and it's sometimes kind of a scramble to finish up and get out of there when I hear them drive up. (I guess I could explain if they asked, but scrambling seems easier at the time.)
You're really good at working the vintage vibe--the headscarf puts it over the top!
Nosy neighbors are the worst! Our backyard isn't really private either but I go deep into the back yard/woodsy part of our yard to make it have a different scenery. I wish I could travel around for outfit photos! :(. Anyways, I love the denim on denim! And I think I had that necklace before?! Haha! I wish I could perfect head scarfs and red lipstick as perfectly as you have! xoxo
Thanks! I was kind of on the fence about them, thinking they were boring and stuff. Glad to have a different opinion! :)
Thank you! As much as I like modern trends, there is something very fun about incorporating vintage touches in my look, ya know?
Haha, I don't blame you for not wanting to stop & explain what you're doing! Chances are, they would still think that the real explanation was weird. Style blogging is kind of a new concept to grasp!
Whenever I see your pictures, I always think you live in the middle of nowhere with beautiful woods and no neighbors. This is an interesting revelation!
I guess in style blogging, you gotta do what you gotta do!
Thanks! It's come with many years of practice. I don't think I EVER would have worn lipstick just a couple years ago. I'm starting to figure it out & love it now. :)
