In-Betweenie

Let's flashback for a second to a time when my hair was still it's naturual hue. Something has been on my mind lately that I feel I should address - time!

I remember being the age of 10-12 and knowing that I was a tween. In-between being a young kid and a full fledged teenager.
I think in a lot of ways, I'm going through that in-between stage all over again. I'm 21, no longer a teenager but not quite an adult. I'm just a young adult. My life is in between right now, my family is living in a house and seeking another one. The weather is a mix of winters leftover chill and the bright summer sun. Even my blog is going through an awkward stage! I have stuff ready to happen and to start and things I want to do, but I have to wait and be patient, so my blog is going through a lull as it is.
Sometimes I get so caught up in making sure I'm in the next step of life that I forget that even being in-between is being somewhere. It's in the middle of all the action, new horizons and adventures are just around the corner.
But, I wouldn't trade this time in my life for anything. I've been growing, and learning, and becoming a much better version of myself. Who could hate that kind of time?

I am feeling the same way. I blogged about it today too. For 4 years things have been changing non-stop, no we kind of have down time and my mind doesn't know how to handle it.

My roommate and I were just talking about this the other day. It's so strange-- we're not quite children, but then whenever something scary happens, I feel like I need to find an adult.

Not that this is an ideal situation - but it's cool to know that there are others feeling the same way. I'm sure this is fairly common for a lot of people, too. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely! I've often wondered if there ever comes a time when you really do feel like an adult. Is it an age, a life milestone, does it ever happen?! Thanks for relating!
