Unlike those car parkers, I go out to use the woods for my pictures! It's such a whimsical and magical place. Well, unless you hear strange sounds and breaking branches - then it just turns into a set up for a horror flick.
I took this opportunity to wear something different. I've had this outfit planned in my closet all winter and never got around to wearing it. The woods on a random afternoon seemed like a perfect match for it. I felt like I was in a fairy tale! Well, until I heard strange sounds, then I ran out of there as fast as these 5 inch heels could carry me.
Outfit details - 100% thrifted for under $5. (well, the necklace is second hand, not thrifted, but still free!)

I love these photos! This setting is so pretty, (even if it's a little horror movie creepy at times hehe). This outfit is so lovely! Longer length skirts are totally on my list of things to pick up for spring, so this is totally inspiring me for the warmer weather!
i looooooove that skirt! its so elegant, YOU'RE elegant :) i love these pictures, the woods are deffinitely a great place to take pics. i love your shoes too! good thing you booked it outta there as soon as you heard those twiggs snap, could of just been a mouse, but we dont wanna risk it being a bear! haha

Thanks! Glad I could help. I seem to be accidentally collecting midi skirts. I get them from the thrift store thinking I'll hem them and then I don't! haha
LOL! Your comment is the best. (and I really did laugh out loud) Thanks, girl! :)
This outfit is PERFECT on you! I love that skirt. The flow and shape of it is stunning and absolutely gorgeous on you! I love your smile:) It always makes ME smile!
Thank you for your comment! i read them ALL and I love them ALL :)
Thanks Maggie!! :) (and you're welcome)
Oh my gosh how retro and adorable you look! (and LOL at running out of the forest, i have done this numerous times from being scared of bugs and what not..) i love the red white and navy combo - I am seriously thinking of doing this same color scheme soon! (probably for the fourth of july though, since i'm just cool like that.) xoxo
Thank you! :)
I guess I just jumped the gun a bit with this outfit by wearing it before the fourth of July! Oh well, still lots of time and lots of outfits to be thought of until then.
These photos are so beautiful! You pull off stripes like a champ. I always feel like a lumpy mess in stripes (but I wear 'em anyway hehe).
