It's incredibly simple and I thought it deserved a video with proper instructions, so you can also work some magic in your own wardrobe. Have at it! :)
Can't forget, only a few days left to enter my giveaway, if you haven't already. Pretty cool prizes up for grabs. :)

I love your dress! You look super cute!
Thank you! :)
You did a great job! Safety pins are a pretty cool trick. I used to use them to hem my jeans when I was in high school.
I have been in the process of "transforming" a maxi skirt into a better one for about ten days, now. Wanna come over here and finish it for me (: You did a great job on it, though!
Thats such a good idea! I'd never have thought of using pins - I'd have just gave it the chop haha! :/ but at least with the pins you can just take them out and have 2 dresses! :)
awesome! thanks for sharing this, its very useful :) turned out grat on your dress

Aww, yes! They are a great invention with so many purposes. :)
Well, I just looked at your blog and noticed you totally worked it out with that extra long skirt! So I guess you didn't need my help after all. haha
Thanks for the feedback!! :)
Thanks! Using the pins may also be a cool idea to try out a length before you chop it up as well. But I like the idea of having two dresses - and this is one of my favorite maxi dresses so I totally wouldn't want to put scissors to it!
You're very welcome! :)
