I'm certain this wood-sy backdrop is becoming a regular on my blog! I love getting a chance to go out and explore. I always come up with something new!
I channeled my inner woods-lady (is that a thing?!) and put together this little ensemble. The poncho was, what I thought, a scrap of fabric I got from my great-grandma's house a couple years ago. It wasn't until much later that a friend pointed out that it was indeed a poncho somebody had made. That made a lot of sense! I think it's so neat that a project I could do today (like the one here) has been around for so long that my own great grandma had made one! I guess what comes around, goes around. :)
Outfit details - Black turtleneck dress, 25 cents (garage sale) - Jeggings, $20 (Wal-Mart old) - Boots, $15 (K-mart) - Hat, $1 (Dollar Store old) - Broach (great-grandma's) - Belt, 25 cents (thrifted)

Love your poncho! The colors are great and the belt is a nice touch!
I'm so glad that it went very easily on you with your tooth! I had dental surgery in 2006, ( i had full bridgework done, top and bottom, 18 piece set, diagnosed with ectodermal dysplasia) so it was a pain and took me 2 1/2 weeks to heal. crazy right?!
i LOOOOOOVE makeover shows too! come to georgia and we will stock up on some of them and watch them together, hehe!
i absolutely LOVE your outfit, gosh, you look beautiful! your poncho is killer, i'd love to have one like yours!

I love the plaid so much. The greys and deep reds are lovely for fall. And, the belt and little pin add so much personality to this outfit!
