Welcome To The Jungle

Today I joined modern society by going to the movies! My sister, mom, and I all went to see The Zookeeper. It was cute, but nothing special and it only had a few small laughs. I'm sure kids would get a kick out of talking animals, however, I do not!

After the movie we walked around the downtown which is now infested with animals! It was recommended by the theater that you go and see them after the movie. I think seeing them and posing with them was funner than watching the movie. haha
So it's actually unusual to see so many wooden animals out and about. There is a talented man in our town who wanted to display them on the square as a way to attract visitors. I believe there are over 30 animals! The closest zoo to us is about an hour away, so this is a great way to have some local fun at a "zoo". You can also climb all over them, which is frowned upon at live animal zoo's.
We're certainly not the only town in Wisconsin to have some gimmicky local attraction. There is a town all about the legends of trolls and one that has cows all around (typical WI, right?!)
Thanks for reading about my little adventure! I hope you've gotten a smile out of seeing all these animals. I sure did! :)

Those photos of you and those animals are so cute! It's a bummer that the closest zoo is so far away, but this is such a great, fun exhibit! :)

Oh my -- the toucan is my favorite! He looks so huggable!

And thanks for your feedback on Zookeeper. Movies are so pricey that I'd hate to spend the money and be disappointed. I'll wait for the rental!

What a fun idea for a town to have! These are so adorable. The town I currently live in has tons of painted cranes hidden all over town. Its quite interesting.
