Building Blocks

Today I went out and took pictures with two friends and my sister.. (pictured are the two friends, Marcus & Brant)
These guys were loaded with their fancy DSLR camera's, and I came equipped with my point and shoot. :)
I do wish I had had way more layers. After the initial shock of "oh my word it's cold!", I got really warm. Which was good because I spent an hour and a half in Wisconsin woods and the temp was around 30 degrees. Then it got cold again.. brrrrr!I know you're dying to see some awesome nature shot, so here you go!

What a Great Grandma!

Not much went on today with me. Ran some errands and tonight was Awana! That sounds really boring.. I'm going to move onto my outfits now! I wore this to run errands -This is such a.. plain outfit. I got this sweater vest thing from my great grandma. I like it, I don't know why, but I do. But I can't seem to figure out a way to style it.What kind of ideas do you guys have? It's an odd brownish/orangish color. Here is what I wore out for Awana -

The Awana outfit was for comfort/color, I am a game leader, I gotta be ready to run around with the kids!

Red Velvet

So I had a very laid back weekend!
On Saturday I ventured into our kitchen and made 2 red velvet cakes. One was from scratch and the other was from a box. I had lots of help from my mom with the from-scratch cake. You see, I do not bake!
Both were/are DELICIOUS!
Valentine's Day was just hanging out at home with my family, playing games, watching movies, eating as many sugar filled items as we could.

Leapin' Leopards!

This was my Friday outfit. It's a total go-to outfit, if I've got nothing to wear and I'm in a hurry (much like I was) then I throw this on. I like mixing colors and patterns.. scratch that, I like the look of mixing colors and patterns, though I'm not good at it. This is one of the few outfits where I actually try my hand at it.

Leopard print shirt - $0, Swiss Colony (dad works there, we use his funny money to buy stuff from there, it's all cheap crap)

Shape Shifter

This was my Thursday outfit. Went out for lunch with my mom and sister, went to Vinny's, and worked on a video for the Sheldon Show.
I got on to check blogs and realized I was wearing a similar outfit to What Would A Nerd Wear, our outfits could be cousins. haha

I was going through some old photos, when I found one of me at a birthday party and I was wearing this outfit (but reverse the colors) and I thought it would be fun to wear again.

I do actually have that dress in gray and black. I used to have it in red, but I started to hate it, as I am now hating the dresses, I'm not into the style anymore. (yeah, my hair was about 12 inches longer back then!)

Today I ventured to the mall..

I've noticed many people wear those looped scarves a lot, I'm not about to go out and pay money for one, so I took this one and tied a knot in the back and made it look endless.. unless of course I turned around, then you could tell it ended! I really liked it and am going to try again really soon!
