Teenfreeway.com

I cannot resist free stuff! I have been using the site teenfreeway.com for years, and I just had this sent to my Facebook, actually it's been there for days and I just found it.
It's a coupon for the store The Limited. I don't think I've ever shopped there in my life but this coupon says you can get $15 off your purchase, just like that.
So that means if I go in and buy something for $15, it's gonna be free! How sweet is that?! It's only until Feb. 3! Here is the link to the coupon FREE COUPON
There clothes are more like work attire and such, but I'm sure I can find something that fits my style.

Turtle Neck!

Just a boring Saturday! I wore two turtlenecks!
Went down to St.Vinnie's and got some games and a cassette. There was a strange man behind and my mom and he saw the people in front of us bought a pillow and he said "Hey I like your pillow!" and my mom said "they didn't hear you" and he said "I collect deer pillows". It was super random.

I couldn't resist pulling the over-sized turtleneck over my face..

The necklace! It's Target brand, but I paid a whole dollar for it from a bargain store (most of my jewelry comes from there, it makes me feel foolish to ever pay more than $1 for any of my jewelry!)

This is actually my go to church outfit.. I've never worn it oot and aboot. I don't know why either, it's comfy and warm! The stripey shirt was bought at Target, I never get to go shopping there and I noticed they had super clearance racks and that shirt was on one, so I bought it! (actually, when don't they have good clearance racks?!)

Bigotes!

Tonight was a Fiesta theme at Awana, it was also parents night.
I think outside of one leader wearing a poncho, I was the most dressed for a Fiesta. I'm used to standing out, but I figured more people would put some effort into there clothes!
Here is what I wore.. it was not first choice, it was all last minute inspired by some sick old flowers I've had hanging up in my room for years. It was a small wire bouquet of flowers I got from a man raising money for a charity outside Wal-Mart. I hate headbands, but I attached the flowers to one and actually wasn't fussing with it at all! I actually kind of liked it.

The little flowers!

Mix of old mardi gras style beads with this string with charms on it. (impulse buy from Wal-Mart last Summer around July 4, it can be pretty much whatever!)

The sombrero cookies my mom and I made!

The little cactus with his real sombrero!

A lot of kids were wearing tiny fake mustaches. So I was going to make a finger 'stache but I got rushed and couldn't find a marker! Just use your imagination about how it looked. :)

This week..

  1. I've been battling a cold since Monday (thanks to my sister who passed it to me!)
  2. Conan O'Brien had his last late night show :(
  3. My great grandma's house is officially sold as of Friday.
  4. I spent a good part of my awake hours playing Sims 2 because it's my addiction :)
  5. I spent a whole quarter on a 'DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince' cassette and it was broken.
But now, here is what I wore.. Wednesday! It's much harder than I thought to do a fashion blog. Most days when I get dressed I'm being rushed right out the door! Mad props to you bloggers to take the time and have the patience for mini photo shoots!
I would say there is nothing great about this outfit, plain black tee, dark navy sweater, my lovely owl necklace, all paired with jeans.

(I had no idea it was windy outside thus the crazy hair, it's so foggy that I couldn't see much of anything!)

Duct Tape

So I am the game leader at Awana at my church. This is my first year! It's crazy trying to plan games and come up with themes, but it's also so much fun!
Tonight the theme was 'Ducky Duct Tape Night'. As you can imagine all the games were played with duct tape, it was awesome. I made up my own shirt. Not fancy but it got the point across!

(in the picture only one arm is full of bracelets, I did wear the jellies on both arms.. but I had already started to take them off when I realized I didn't have a picture!)

Poiple!

I love wearing the color purple. It's such a sweet color.

The leopard print shoes, pretty much the only flats I own, and they need to go soon, which is sad :(
The details on the beret!

The perfectly mismatched earrings. I love to call them my "George Michael" earrings, because he used to wear that one cross all the time.

I ran down to St.Vincents today. Lately I've been really disappointed with the clothing in stock, but today I found a tealish colored sweater (with new tags) on the 75% off rack. The original Vinny's price was $4.25 and I got it for $1.12! Jackpot!
Tonight I'm off to Awana for 'Ducky Duct Tape Night'. I should post a picture of the shirt I made up for it, it's kind of awesome.

The Library

So today I went to the library. I should have gone last week, but it just kept getting put off. On Feb. 25th I am going to talk to the teens at one of there tech meetings. I am knowledgeable in the YouTube area so they have asked me to come talk about it, take questions, show them what I do. I'm quite excited.
I thought it was just going to be the tech teens and such. But to my surprise, the librarian was just SUPER excited, I think more than me. She is going to make posters to hang around the library (she took my picture, I think it turned out awful, let's hope she doesn't blow it up! ha), those posters will then get sent to the middle school which will send them to the other elementary schools. But that's not all folks! She is going to talk about my show next week when she goes on the local radio! Oh boy! And I've already decided to ask my friends to come.
You must understand, I've been doing YouTube stuff for years, the most recognition I've gotten was within my own youth group at church.. this is a crazy amount of exposure for me! But I'm very happy to be getting it, so thank you library.
Oh! I came here to talk about my outfit, so let me do that. I went pretty simple. Black dress, cropped brown vest (not pictured: I hate it, but I own 2 vests, so it has to do) and my black Miley legging jeans, which I wish I could live in! Soo comfy! Oh yeah, I didn't actually wear that.. beret?.. I wore the gray version, it's smaller.

I felt kind of arsty and way cooler than I am. I got the necklace from a family friend, she let me dig threw boxes of jewelry after her mother passed. I'm not sure what is on the necklace, melted beads or something?! But it's cute.. and those are my all time favorite hoop earrings!
This is sort of long, so let me wrap it all up with my YouTube channel - Hannah's YouTube
And of course, here is a link of the show the library is having me talk about!! The Sheldon Show

Seventeen!

I am pretty stoked. I love entering for freebies at Seventeen.com. In the past I have won three sets of NYC eyeshadow (I thought I was only going to receive one and the package came and there was 3!) and my sister hit it big last year when she won an amazing blow dryer!
Well I can now add one more win to the list. I won some "animal-print chandelier earrings from AMI Clubwear!". I don't really recall what they looked like or why I wanted them, but hey, free jewelry is free jewelry!

Update

Hello Blog,
No, I have not been ignoring you. In fact, I sign in here several times a day and read like 30 other fashion blogs. I think it's a bit of an obsession! Fashion blogs are quite fun (and addicting) to read.
Like I've mentioned before, I don't really go out much. Most of my day is spent indoors keeping myself busy. I could make up an excuse and go outside, but why would I with zero degree weather?!
But I promise to at least post something this week! Thank you for reading this :)

Happy New Year!

So I thought for sure I wouldn't do anything for new years eve, which I'm fine with, I've learned to create my own fun and such. But at the last minute some friends of mine showed up to "kidnap" me. We went down to my friends house where my sister was already celebrating (can you believe she ditched me?!) But it was fun, we played Wii and Rockband, I left shortly after midnight, video games just aren't really my thing, and that's literally all they were doing!
I ended up being the most dressed up person there! I love that.
This is a plain black Hanes top from Wal-Mart, a shimmery skirt that's been in the dress up clothes (from Swiss Colony) and some textured tights bought on super clearance for $1 at Wal-Mart.

The jewelry. I'm pretty sure both things were bought from the 10 for $10 sale at Claire's, at different times!

I wasn't so sure if sitting would be ok in a skirt, but to my surprise it worked out just fine! (there is my sister who insisted on wearing sweats)
