Scarves 101: Being Square

It should not come as to surprise to my regular readers that I love scarves. It's almost safe to say that I hoard them. I have a wall full of all different kinds. Long ones, silk ones, fluffy ones, sparkly ones. I'm not picky.
Anyways! Over the years I've picked up a few neat tying tricks. There are seriously way more ways to tie them than the ones I will showcase to you. It's almost mind blowing what you can do with a scarf.
I will start off with my most favorite of scarves.. the square. Enjoy! :)
One little thing I've learned about scarves, mostly these ones, are that they absorb pretty much every scent. I can go months without wearing a certain scarf and it will still smell just like me (which is pretty darn good, if I say so myself ;) )
This can be an advantage if you are running out of time and can't put on perfume, so you will be naturally deodorized. Or this can work against you and pick up an unwanted smell (such as cig smoke) and have to put up with the scent all day.

I picked this scarf up a few months ago at a thrift store and it cleverly had a large ring over the knot. It's ridiculously heavy and weighs the scarf down and makes it do funny tricks, but I like where they were going with the idea..
